Terms and Conditions

Policies apply to the purchase of jewelry and/or items made or ordered through Mason Metalworks LLC. By purchasing through Mason Metalworks LLC it is implied that you have read and understood all terms and conditions below. Mason Metalworks LLC reserves the rights to cancel or deny any order for any reason. If an order is cancelled and a refund is due, it will be determined by Mason Metalworks LLC.

Disclosures

Slight variations in stones pictured and what is received can occur. This is due to the use of natural stones which have inclusions and variations in quality, cut and color. Color variations can also be due to monitor and screen calibrations. Variations also occur in the craft of jewelry and/or items since they are made by hand or CAD/CAM processes. No two pieces will be exactly the same, especially in multiples. Mason Metalworks LLC strives to be as accurate as can be in these processes.

Returns (non-custom and retail)

All returns are at the discretion of Mason Metalworks LLC. In the event an item is received defective by the customer a refund, repair or replacement will be issued. Defective items are provided a return shipping label and are not subject to a restocking fee. You have 7 days from the time your item has arrived to return jewelry and/or items. All sales are final after the 7 day period. All returned jewelry and/or items must be in the same condition as was sent to you. No jewelry and/or items will be accepted for return if it is damaged, altered or worn. Please contact directly immediately upon needing a return. Mason Metalworks LLC will provide you an authorization number and instructions to ship. You must ship the package back, insured for the retail value, and pack the items safely and securely. Mason Metalworks LLC is not responsible for lost packages or damages occurring during shipping. Once the item is received Mason Metalworks LLC will verify the condition of the jewelry and/or items and issue a refund, less any shipping, within 3 days of receipt. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee unless otherwise noted.

Custom Orders ( not online or retail)

All custom orders are non-returnable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. Once approved, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required for all custom orders based on an estimate provided to you. Estimates are subject to change and do not include sales tax, shipping and insurance if applicable. Estimates are based on the scope of work completed and do not include material price increases or additional labor and materials. The remaining balance is due before the completed work is shipped or delivered. Any unpaid balances can result in forfeiture of the completed work, late fees and if needed, a collection agency.

Custom Fitted Teeth Jewelry

Teeth and or tooth jewelry, also known as “grillz” are made for temporary cosmetic and entertainment purposes only. Mason Metalworks LLC does not perform dental procedures, and will not take impressions of teeth in person. You must purchase a do-it-yourself mold kit or have your impressions completed by a licensed dentist. It is highly recommended that you have your teeth checked by a dentist prior to ordering. Any anomalies such as broken teeth, missing teeth, restorations, periodontal disease or other dental conditions will determine whether “grillz” can be made. “Grillz” are for persons 18 years of age and older.

A complete impression is required to make a mold. Any inconsistencies in the impression, such as lack of anatomy or gum line, smudges, or distortion will not make a quality mold. It may take more than one impression to make a quality mold. If any teeth are broken or loose, it is not recommended to do your own impression, please see a licensed dentist for care.

“Grillz” are not for the replacement of natural teeth, broken fillings or other dental conditions. They are not for long term wear, nor a substitute for any dental purposes. “Grillz” can cause damage to teeth and soft tissues in the oral cavity. Long term and short term health conditions may also occur.

Wearing “grillz” will temporarily change occlusion (the way your teeth come together). If worn over time they can permanently alter occlusion. “Grillz” are not to be worn while eating, drinking, sleeping, smoking, playing sports, or any activity in which the jewelry can become dislodged or damaged. CHOKING HAZARD. KEEP AWAY FROM PETS AND CHILDREN.

Metals used in the manufacture of “grillz” are standard jewelry alloys, not dental alloys. These include .925, 10k, 14k, 18k and PLAT. Inflammation and allergic reactions may occur to the oral mucosa.

Due to anatomical limitations, or design of “grillz” some pieces may not hold onto teeth without the use of dental adhesive (ex. Poligrip or Fixodent). Single “grillz” caps are the most difficult to retain on teeth. DO NOT USE A PERMANENT ADHESIVE. In the occurrence that a piece does not fit well, please contact Mason Metalworks within 24 hours of receiving the “grillz” so that a reevaluation of fit can occur.

It is recommended to clean your “grillz” before and after every use. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners. If your “grillz” needs a professional cleaning please contact Mason Metalworks LLC.

Mason Metalworks LLC custom order policy applies to custom fitted teeth or tooth jewelry also known as “grillz”.

Mason Metalworks LLC will not be held liable for any indirect, direct, incidental, special or consequential losses or damages arising from the use of custom fitted teeth jewelry, also known as “grillz”. By purchasing these items it is implied that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions above.

Stone Re-setting & Recycling of Precious Metals

Utilization of customer supplied stones and precious metals are subject to review by Mason Metalworks LLC. Stones will need to be unmounted and inspected before use. Stones that are synthetic, lab-grown, repaired, or altered in anyway must be disclosed prior to inspection. Poorly cut, damaged or unusually risky stones will not be accepted. Precious metals must be clearly stamped and will require re-alloying, depending on scope of project.

Domestic Shipping

Mason Metalworks LLC generally ships all packages USPS Priority Insured. Items with higher value will require signature. Currently due to Covid-19 and the influx of packages handled through FedEx, UPS, USPS and other carriers shipment delays will apply. Carriers are no longer guaranteeing delivery dates during times of high volume. I ship within 24 hours of an order being placed during business hours. After a package is received by USPS or any other carrier I am unable to control how quickly it gets to you. If you prefer an overnight or expedited option please contact me.

International Shipping

Mason Metalworks LLC will ship internationally with a few exceptions. All prices provided are in US dollars. Any import duties, taxes or brokerage fees due at the time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the receiving customer (you, the buyer). Please do your research so you are ready to have your items cleared through customs and understand what the additional costs will be. Forms for international shipments cannot be marked as “gift” or with altered prices. International orders may require an additional 3-5 days of processing time.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to Mason Metalworks LLC, personal information is not shared unless it is required for payment purposes to a financial institution or agency.

Fraud

Fraudulent practices are not tolerated. Fraud of any kind will be reported and investigated by local law and/or your financial institutions.

Returned Checks (Local Custom Orders Only)

Any returned, unpaid checks will be charged to you along with all the expenses and fees according to state law. Fee for the state of Iowa is $30.00.

Sales Tax

All orders are subject to state sales tax. State sales tax for Iowa is 7%.
